The Boston Business Journal, a publication of the American City Business Journals, has announced the 10 recipients of its 2017 Women to Watch in Science and Technology awards.
The award recognizes New England’s female technology and business leaders; the innovators who are helping to build new companies and drive established tech companies in new directions. They will be honoured at the 14th annual Women to Watch Awards breakfast on February 16 at the Ritz-Carlton Boston hotel.
According to Carolyn Jones, the market president and publisher of the Boston Business Journal, the BBJ is again proud to honour women who are leading the way in science and technology in Massachusetts. She also said, “All 10 women we have chosen this year are leaders in their chosen fields, who are driving the state’s innovation economy while serving as role models for countless other women.”
The recipients of this award include Julia Austin (Chief Technology Officer, DigitalOcean Inc.), Hatalya Bailey (CEO and Co-founder of Accion Systems Inc.), Tara Clark (Vice President Commercial at The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory Inc.) and Danielle Curcio (Vice President of Engineering at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems), among others.
