The International Career Day is a day originated by the Swiss to help young academics with young experience who want to have a career in intergovernmental organizations. Due to the under- representation of the Swiss in the UN system, the International Career Day was introduced as part of the Federal Council’s Strategy to increase Swiss international presence.
The event is put together to provide young men and women with the chance to approach international organisations and to encourage them to pursue a career. It provides a unique platform for graduates to communicate with recruitment specialists from various organizations. All organizations present will make presentations.
The target group of the event is mainly new graduates and young academics with work experience.
