A five-day road show organised by the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) in partnership with the United Kingdom Trade and Investment (UKTI) and Price-water Cooper (PwC), for Nigeria trade and investment has commenced in London.
A statement issued by the High Commission’s press and public affairs officer, Mr Joe Abuku, in Abuja, said that the event was organized for a select group of key officials from the federal and state governments.
The aim is to update and highlight business opportunities in the energy, agriculture, transport, solid minerals, ICT and infrastructure sectors to UK investors, key UK government agencies (UK Export Finance, Infrastructure and Projects Authority) and other stakeholders.
The session which began on Monday, July 11, 2016 and would end on Friday, July 15, 2016 featured keynote speeches from the Nigerian Minister of Trade and Investment, Mr Okechukwu Enelamah, and the UK Trade Envoy to Nigeria, John Howell.
Representing their sectors, Nigeria’s transport minister, Rotimi Amaechi, agriculture minister, Audu Ogbeh, water resources minister, Suleiman Adamu, and the minister of state, aviation, Hadi Sirika are in attendance, also.
