One Young World (the world’s premier forum for young leaders), is hosting its Environment Summit which is the first in a series of thematic events being hosted by One Young World that will gather 500 young leaders alongside experts from the worlds of science, politics, the arts and business.
One Young World is unique in giving delegates the opportunity to interact with some of the world’s leading politicians, business leaders and campaigners and opens up a platform empowering them to make lasting connections to drive positive change.
The Summit will focus on environmental challenges and the role young leaders can play in solving them; one of the topics on the agenda includes: Climate change, COP21 & political action.
For the duration of the program, delegates will hear from environmental experts from political, business and scientific spheres. The Summit will be structured around creating collaboration around environmental solutions and using the unique setting of Biosphere 2 to inspire fresh thinking and new ideas. It will facilitate discussion, debates and networking in order to empower young leaders to be the change they want to see in the world.
As well as hearing from global figures, delegates will have the opportunity to make their own presentations and take part in workshops around the Biosphere.
Furthermore, delegates will have exclusive entry to Biosphere 2 including behind-the-scenes tours and access to laboratories and research facilities. The Summit will build up to delegates going on to create their own initiatives and positive impact in the environmental arena.
After the Summit, delegates will also have the opportunity to register to join a network of over 7,000 One Young World Ambassadors: young leaders driving change in 196 countries.
