Taking place from April 24 – 28, Responsible Business Week is an annual campaign designed to help celebrate the brighter side of business and provide a platform to debate and discuss how businesses can respond to the most pressing social and environmental issues. It is organised by Business in the Community.
Now in its fourth year, it provides an opportunity for businesses to inspire each other to make a positive impact in the society and turn aspiration into action. It is described as the awareness week for responsible business, and claims to give a “high profile opportunity for businesses and organisations of all sorts to demonstrate the many ways through which they can work together to turn ambition into positive action for a fairer society and a more sustainable future”.
This year, the campaign is calling on all kinds of businesses and organisations to use the week to share and exchange ideas for responsible business with the theme ‘Leading a Sustainable Future’. It will also focus on what it means to be a responsible business in a digital era, while continuing to champion responsible business.
