SPE has a history of providing outstanding conferences with new and exciting avenues for learning and growth and as such an interesting time to be part of the unfolding history of the emerging and bourgeoning oil and gas industry in Africa.
This year’s SPE African Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Social Responsibility Conference and Exhibition is focused on leveraging our diverse and unique industry expertise to better understand the emerging futures of oil and gas opportunities and to build capacity while addressing the daunting operational challenges faced by the industry.
This conference is the largest gathering in Africa designed to create opportunities to network with professionals and key stakeholders and enhance knowledge in the health, safety, environment, and security practices. The 2014 edition saw more than 200 registered attendees from 17 countries, and offered nine technical sessions covering 27 technical papers. It also featured keynote and headline presentations from Peter Nmadu, Group Executive Director, Corporate Services NNPC, and Egbert U Imomoh, 2013 SPE President, Chairman Afren Plc.
The conference holds on October 4-6, 2016 at Movenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra, Ghana
