The Africa Energy Forum (AEF) is an annual global investment meeting that brings together senior-level representatives from Government, Financial institutions, Technology providers, Power developers, Consultants, Law firms as well as large energy consumers from all over Africa.
The aim of the event is to form partnerships, identify opportunities and collectively move the industry forward. The forum would also be used as an avenue to celebrate 20 years of projects, deals and partnerships as it will be the 20th anniversary of the Africa Energy Forum in Mauritius. The 20th Africa Energy Forum will evaluate the success and impact of several of Africa’s leading government-funded programmes and initiatives designed to increase energy access on the continent.
The event hosts an average of 2,000 decision makers from Africa’s power, energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors each year. Six Ministers and Two Deputy Ministers of Energy from Burkina Faso, Gabon, Ethiopia, Liberia, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana and Namibia are expected to be in attendance alongside other notable guests.
