The United Nations Development Programme is seeking an Agroforestry Expert to provide technical support for community-based climate-smart agroforestry and woodlots interventions in Sierra Leone.
The person will be responsible for assessing proposals for agroforestry interventions and bio-energy hotspots in Tonkolili and Bombali Districts of Sierra Leone.
To qualify, applicants must have an advanced degree in Forestry, Agroforestry, or related professional field with at least five years’ experience in agroforestry issues and adequate knowledge in climate-smart operations. Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English with strong reporting and presentation skills.
