Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, has once again sponsored ten African Union technical experts to China for a two-week training on ICT. This batch makes it the third set of experts sent for the training since a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between China and the African Union in January 2015. The MoU serves as a means of establishing cooperation between the two sides, in the area of ICT and capacity building for the African continent whilst the training is to support the AU’s efforts in building and improving the ICT sector on the continent.
