The Education Sector Support Programme In Nigeria.

The Education Sector Support Programme In Nigeria (ESSPIN) has made plans to support the federal and state governments to make sustainable improvements in basic education services in Nigeria.  Nigeria’s government is committed to transforming its education sector in line with the 2020 vision which places education at the forefront of the challenges of development and future economic success.

ESSPIN is designed to develop an education system in which every child in Nigeria is given the opportunity to receive standard education. The program managers are assessing educational shortcomings and supporting government, teachers and the communities to create the enabling conditions for learning.

Through this project, new strategies and plans will be used to restructure education authorities, their services and functions. This project aims to significantly improve the learning environment for school children by providing assistance in general school management, effectively measuring teaching quality and student performance.
