UAE’s Ministry of Climate Change signs sustainability agreement with Etihad Energy services

The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment(MOCCAE) of UAE  has signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) on sustainability with Etihad Energy Services. The aim of the MOU is to bolster the principles of sustainability in the public and private sectors by exchanging knowledge and experiences on global best practices as well as raise awareness of successful business practices.

The MoU was signed by Saif Mohamed AlShara, MOCCAE’s Assistant Under-Secretary for the Sustainable Communities Sector, and Ali Mohammed Al Jassim, Etihad ESCO’s CEO, in the presence of Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment.

The CEO of Etihad Energy services Al Jassim stated their commitment to the partnership with MOCCAE was to achieve the UAE Sustainability vision of 2030 and in the implementation of the government directives.”
