The index also reflects the dedication of Bloomberg to encourage data transparency and workplace equality. The premier 2016 BFGEI have recognized 26 financial firms with commitments to gender equality. This selection was made through the firm’s submission of a social survey to Bloomberg while partnering with third party experts.
The L.P. Chairman Peter T. Grauer said “We hope the BFGEI encourages more firms to disclose and discuss gender equality in the workplace. Better support for female employees is crucial to building and developing a diverse workforce – and it’s key to remaining competitive in today’s global business environment”.
