#CSR: 21st Century Fox Supports Female Refugees’ Education

21st Century Fox, world’s premier portfolio of cable, broadcast, film, pay TV and satellite assets, has announced its intention to support secondary school girls’ education. The 21st Century Fox intends to fulfil this by donating a sum $125,000 to an organization that supports this cause globally, the Malala Funds.

This grant was raised through social media campaign and an employee matching program to support the 18-year old activist, Malala Yousafzai who is raising awareness for the young women who are not in school all around the world. The Co-presidents of Fox Searchlight, Steve Gilula and Nancy Utley, salutes the bravery of the young activist and are honoured to support her cause.

The Fund, Malala Fund, will support Syrian refugee girls’ education with the grant from 21CF. Malala fund is working hard to provide quality education for female children globally.

Malala Yousafzai said that it is our duty to stand by these girls who are dedicated to getting an education but do not have the opportunity.
