#Event: Asian Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility to Convene in Myanmar

The Asian Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility is an annual regional conference that is co-convened by the Asian Institute of Management and Intel. The conference is an avenue for displaying CSR thought leadership and best practices. The 15th edition will hold at Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, to discuss Corporate Social Innovation (CSI).

The sessions of the meeting will be interactive and will feature key figures in the Myanmar government, business leaders CSR thinkers and social entrepreneurs, who will discuss unique perspectives on the topic under view. The forum is well timed, following the high economic expectation due to the recent political transition in Myanmar. The Chairman of the Conference Committee, Dato Timothy Ong, declared that there is an increase in social, economic and environmental challenges that need a different approach to solve and the lasting solutions can only come from the coming together of businesses, governments, and non-government organizations, to produce transformative solutions.
