The Deputy Director of the National Association for Environmental Management, Virginia Hoekenga, has announced the agenda of the annual conference of the association; Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Sustainability Management Forum. The forum which has been scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 26th October to Wednesday, 27th October 2016 at Denver is expected to have more than 550 corporate leaders in attendance.
While announcing the agenda, Ms Hoekenga said that companies who aim at being leaders in environment, health and safety (EHS) and sustainability management are careful about delivering positive business impacts through their programs. She expressed the excitement of the association in showing off the upcoming practices being used to build safety cultures and to reduce operational risk while taking steps towards reducing the environmental impact of their activities.
This year’s forum is centred on four major things: “Reducing Risk, Spotlighting Value”, “Safety Leadership”, “Strategic Sustainability” and “Strategic Resource Management”.
